A body is found preserved by the natural atmosphere of a cave. As Dr Bill Brockton begins to investigate, it becomes clear that someone has commited a murder... and will do it again. (Woo! Trailer writen by ME!)
I give this book a rating of 4.5 out of 5.
This is the first book I've read by Jefferson Bass, but definately will not be the last. In Carved in Bone, the main character (Dr. Bill Brockton) leaves his research at the "Body Farm" to help solve this crime... along the way, you not only learn various things about forensics, but HE MAKES YOU LAUGH!!!!!!!! There is nothing like a combination of humor and decomp, ya know? LOL
The plot was good, but could have used a little more suspense. The characters were great, but could have used just a little more development. Overall? This book freakin' rocked!!!!!! I plan to read others by him in the near future.
